Daniel has been involved with Creative Work, Worship Leading, Project Management, Production and Band Directing since 2007. He has not only been a lead position in many of those areas, but has led and built multiple teams, project managed aspects of new building projects, been on executive leadership, has created systems and processes in growing churches around the United States.

LifeWell: A Christian Church - Creative Director | Lead Worship Pastor

​March 2022 - Current

Daniel has continually been drawn to churches that are going somewhere.  Daniel took a role on staff to help LifeWell get to the next level, not only in worship, but in all areas of the church.  Daniel has brought his past skills of project management to help LifeWell during their expansion project.  His duties are to manage the weekend services and all communications and creative content for LifeWell, lead and manage improvements in the auditorium, lead and grow the creative team, work on systems and processes, staff development, maintain AVL systems and network, as well as look to the future to help plan the next steps for the church.

Brandbutter Creative - Video Editor / Sales

​February 2021 - February 2022

Always inspired by the energy of startups, BrandButter was another young organization Daniel worked for.  The skills he learned at the Refinery Christian Church in video production, leadership, system management and people skills, were instrumental in what they needed.  Daniel’s current duties are video editing, helping build sales packages and adding to the client portfolio.

Maryland Community Church - Campus Worship Pastor

​January 2020 - December 2021

Daniel was a Campus Worship Pastor at Maryland Community Church. Some of his weekly responsibilities were as follows: plan weekend & special service sets, lead the band, production, and broadcast volunteers, as well as the upkeep & upgrades of all of their production equipment. Daniel also oversaw the onboarding of musicians and development of musicians in their student department.

The Refinery Christian Church - Lead Worship Pastor

​May 2014 - January 2020

While the Lead Worship Pastor The Refinery Christian Church some of his weekly responsibilities were as follows: plan weekend & special service sets, arrange and create reference tracks/chart music, set stage, create live assist tracks, lead the band, production, and broadcast volunteers, manage budget for all weekend service needs, create stage sets, graphic, & videos for sermons series, as well as the upkeep & upgrades of all of their production equipment.

 

In 2018, Daniel had the opportunity to help The Refinery move into their first permanent home.  This involved weekly construction meetings to insure all designed pieces for the AVL system were being incorporated correctly, made sure project for AVL was moving appropriately - taking steps to ensure the integration and the construction companies were communicating clearly, managed the budget for equipment and upgrades making sure they were the correct and necessary components for the new space that was being created. 

Leadership Institute at Christ's Church of the Valley - Worship Residency

​Aug 2013 - May 2014

The Leadership Institute at Christ’s Church of the Valley is a phenomenal program where the church helps you connect what you have learned in a formal classroom to real world experience.  In all around 60 projects were assigned with three specialty areas in Media & Web, Music and Performance, & Staging and Production. 

Cornerstone Church of Joplin - Worship Pastor​
September 2010 - May 2013

Daniel served as the lead worship pastor at Cornerstone during his time in college. Some of his weekly responsibilities were as follows: plan weekend set, arrange and chart music, set stage, manage volunteers, conduct band rehearsal.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry with no formal emphasis.  He chose, however, to use his non-specialized course credits to further his knowledge in music by attending Music Theory I & II, Private Guitar, Private Vocal, Choir, and Piano courses.
